Instructional Design
Description of the Course
In this course, I was able to gather information about key instructional design concepts and skills, work in community to address problems commonly encountered in the instructional design process, demonstrate competencies with ID terms and practices, and use the concepts and skills to actually do instructional design work. A major component of the course was the development of an instructional design document through completing “missions.” Through this component, I self-selected an instructional problem and then carried out the Dick & Carey ID process to design my own instructional solution. I was able to evaluate my designs with sample target learners and reflected and refined my work.
